New Job
1st April 2005
Probably not the best date to start a new job, right? :)
Well, I did it nevertheless -- started working for
Vibrant Media on April Fools.
Luckily it wasn't a joke and I'm still working for them :) lol
Moved House
Gave up the old apartment in Reading as the commuting time was a bastard :)
So I finally moved to London beginning of June 2005.
For a while, the house was a mess and it took me a while to put it right.
There are pictures in my albums section showing various
stages of it throughout the move.
Prepared the Hosting of the Site
Computers arrived from Dabs and
the house became a mess again :-)
Took me a while to get rid of the boxes and set it all up as you can see.
Moved Offices
As of 21/Nov/2005, Vibrant Media has
moved into new office, near Barbican underground station. You can find a few
pictures of the office and the views (from the 7th floor!) of the surroundings
in the albums section.
Moved House
As of 3/Feb/2006, I've moved again in East London this time -- closer to work,
bigger house etc. You can see some pics about this move
in the albums section.
Hard Drive Failure
Beginning of March/2006, one of the harddrives in the server failed and died
a good death :) Due to various reasons (none of them solid though -- apart from
my negligence I guess :) ) I didn't make any backups of the server since mid-December
2005 :(. So for those of you who knew the site before this event, you will notice that
some of the pictures have dissapeared (I still have them on various other CDs but I
couldn't be bothered really to go and dig them up) and certain pages have changed
their look (and contents!) to what the site used to look like back in December/2005.
There's a lot to be said I guess about regular backups -- d'oh! :)
